The process began with thorough planning and research. I analyzed traditional and modern broadsheet designs to find a balance between readability and visual appeal. Since Jmarian is a publication that caters to a wide audience, I ensured that the layout remained structured yet engaging, following standard newspaper design principles while incorporating a fresh, modern touch.
From there, we help you create a brand identity that not only reflects your business but also resonates with your audience, building trust and loyalty over time.
One of the biggest challenges was ensuring that the content remained well-organized and not overwhelming. Given the amount of text and imagery required, spacing and white space were carefully managed to prevent the layout from feeling cluttered. I also had to make multiple revisions to fine-tune details like alignment, kerning, and justification to ensure a polished final output.
Designing the Jmarian Publication broadsheet was a significant milestone in my layout design journey. It reinforced my expertise in editorial design, typography, and print media while pushing me to refine my skills in composition and visual storytelling. This experience not only strengthened my technical abilities but also deepened my appreciation for the art of publication design.
